"Geraldine" is a 2008 single by Scottish Indie rock〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Glasvegas Singer Missing )〕 band Glasvegas. It was released on 23 June 2008 and reached #11 on the UK singles chart, and #1 on the NME chart two weeks later. It also reached #1 on the Scottish Singles Chart. According to the NME website: This song seems to hold much truth as Geraldine really has given up her job as a social worker to sell Glasvegas merchandise at concerts.〔(NME.com Blog: The Real Geraldine )〕 On the album, the 20 second intro to "Geraldine" is tacked onto the end of preceding song "Flowers & Football Tops," giving "Geraldine" a 3:45 run time. The single version of "Geraldine" includes this intro, making it 4:06. The song has been nominated for Best International Song at the 2008 Swedish Rockbjörnen awards.〔 NB: Select "Jag vill rösta på:" in "10: Årets utländska låt".〕 ==Track listing== ''All songs written by James Allan, except where noted.''
